HEALING FROM SEXUAL ABUSE
This is a subject he knows experientially, physiologically and spiritually. As an adolescent he was molested by a stepbrother and in his 60s returned to college to obtain a Doctor of Ministry degree, chiefly to learn why he became so despondent he tried to commit suicide, was in two psych wards, became addicted to illicit sexual encounters and crack cocaine. When he saw God’s Shekinah Glory in a San Pedro CA holding cell on Dec. 16, 1996, he found forgiveness for his abuser and has been in full time Christian Ministry since. He has shared his training in churches, rehab centers, prisons, and on his YouTube Channel.
Statistics show that up to 50% of the homeless, and incarcerated males were sexually abused. With women; 70% of those in prisons have suffered sexual abuse. There is no greater physiological indicator of homelessness and incarceration. He considers it his ministerial duty to help others heal as God healed him. PRISON MINISTRY
In 2019 Eddie and wife Sandi purchased a motorhome in Florida and set out for Texas. He left positions as a PRN chaplain at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater FL and his working 20 weekend hours for Suncoast Hospice. He planned to speak in 20 prisons but was told by a Texas prison minister who knew the prison system there, it would never happen. He spoke in 30. And miraculously when they returned, both his positions were still intact.
He has also preached in prisons in Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana, bringing the total to at least 50. It’s fertile ground for salvation and at least 700 came to know the Lord as Savior. He is still active in the prison ministry, and said, “I will continue as long as I can walk and talk. I declare the following verse over myself every morning when I wake up.”
Isaiah 40:31.“But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

His YouTube Channel “Eddie Donnally the Power of One” features interviews with famous Christians, Bible based opinions on future events such as the rapture and Christ’s return, the true nature of spacecraft and space aliens, deliverance ministry, human trafficking, disaster chaplaincy, God’s End Time Army, how to prepare for and thrive during what he is convinced is today’s perilous times and much more. It also includes his testimony, watched by nearly 12,000 people.

Videos also include his street ministry, which while sometimes dangerous are important to him and his wife. They started ministering in the streets shortly after he left the jail cell and began living at the Los Angeles Dream Center where he met and married Sandi Steele. Twenty-seven years later, God called him back to preaching on the streets. Working under the New Covenant Fellowship Church in nearby Metairie, you can meet him and his evangelical crew preaching and ministering to the homeless in the famous New Orleans Jackson Square. They preach and pray among fortune tellers, tarot card readers and Voodoo Bone readers. They also feed, clothe and preach to the homeless and share the Gospel with the hundreds who flock to the nationally known landmark. They have led many to Christ and placed several in local Christian rehab facilities. Donnally said, “Though the Lord has always protected us, we have been confronted by satanists, cursed, often given the one finger salute, and I even had whiskey thrown into my eyes. But I know God is blessing our group because of the persecution.”
Matthew 5:10-12 “ Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

But after passing out clothing there, including some to Michael, he allowed Donnally to pray for him and became their unofficial protector. JOCKEYS AND JEANS
To raise funds for his fellow jockeys who no longer ride racehorses but wheelchairs, Donnally and four other former jockeys formed the all-volunteer organization in late 2014. He served as President for a short time then nominated Barry Pearl, who was President until resigning in June 2023. Donnally. Vice President during those years, became Interim President when Pearl retired. Through an annual charity event and annual stallion season sale, the group raised $3.85 Million for Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. The charity pays a $1,500 stipend to 55 permanently disabled jockeys. From February of 2024 until February of 2025 Jockeys and Jeans raised a single year record of $458,000. Donnally resigned in March 2025 to commit more time to his evangelical ministry but became one of its Ambassadors who advocates for the cause to aid disabled jockeys

Donnally is in the brown shirt, kneeling beside two former jockeys in wheelchairs and behind a depiction of a check to PDJF for $60,000. Surrounding him are eight other former jockeys in wheelchairs, 16 Hall of Fame Jockeys and Gulfstream Park Jockeys.
